it's happening this weekend! merkado kultura returns to san francisco on april 5-6. we're thrilled to share an amazing group of makers, small business owners, and creatives who are bound by their love for 🇵🇭 roots.

we have brands joining us from manila through the MK sari sari, plus vendors from the bay area, san diego, orange county, and los angeles. don't miss this celebration of filipino culture, craftsmanship, and community!

✨ introducing: golden makers market!

we're thrilled to announce our first-ever golden makers market happening may 3-4, 2025 at SD made factory in east village, san diego!

this market is our celebration of aanhpi heritage month—a vibrant marketplace designed to highlight the incredible talent within our communities while supporting golden guide's nonprofit mission to build stronger networks of connection and support.

we still have a few spots left and are especially looking for:

apparel
beauty
accessories (not jewelry)
home goods (not candles)
prepared, baked or packaged goods
plants/florals

for artists: we're also seeking artists for our "hiraya manawari" themed group art show! we've created more accessible options with shared tables at reduced rates. participate in our exhibition exploring "hiraya"—an ancient tagalog concept that goes beyond hope to encompass imagination, creativity, and the power to manifest what doesn't yet exist.

applications close march 31, 2025 (or when spots fill)
if selected, payment is due by april 7, 2025

a lot of you have been asking for one and after our mega aanhpi community event calendar last year we decided to get a head start with a gift guide to help drive support to small aanhpi owned businesses!
