💛 merkado kultura: looking forward with joy + gratitude
we're still buzzing with joy from the magic that unfolded after two years of dreaming. what started as a serendipitous conversation at a pop-up (as these things often do) turned into something beyond our wildest dreams—bringing merkado kultura to san diego for the very first time!
this journey has shown us the incredible power of community: from those first planning conversations, to the mini MK’s to that unforgettable october market—every step was made possible by people who believed in creating spaces for connection and celebration.
and now? we're filled with so much excitement to share that merkado kultura will be coming back to san diego this october! but before then, you can see a little slice of magic at merkado kultura’s lunar new year mini-market on february 8 at joon shoppe. expect to see familiar faces and discover new makers who embody the spirit and creativity that makes our community so special.
this is just the beginning of what we hope will be a year of growth, connection, and joy as the fiscal sponsor for merkado kultura as we collectively endeavor to bring it to even more cities. we're grateful for every vendor, volunteer, and visitor who has made this dream possible, and we can't wait to continue building these spaces of belonging together.
